The boys soccer team struggled to get the engine going in the first half against Grant Park as they came out with a 1-0 lead. However, the second half saw a complete turn around as the team strung together 7 unanswered goals to cruise to a 8-0 win. Wences Baumgartner led the way with 4 goals and an assist while Sebastian Juarez tallied 2 goals of his own. Paxton Gorcowski and Vince Durante found the back of the net as well. Conner Cochrane had 2 assists while Gavin Graham, Luca Sadus, and Tyler Olson all assisted a goal each. Stanley Detjen earned the clean sheet with Axil Avila, Jadyn Hill, Tyler Doran, and Miguel Corral turning in tough defensive efforts. The team plays at home for the RVC championship on Saturday at 10:00am. Come out and support the team!
