Yesterday, Varsity baseball defeated Reed Custer 9-2. Nico Fox went 6 innings only allowing 2 runs and striking out 8 Comets. Ryan Cruz had three hits for the Bobcat offense and 4 RBIs, while Chasten Clegg had two hits as well. Chase Maher pitched a scoreless 7th inning to preserve the win.
Girls softball defeated Illiana Christian yesterday by a score of 6-1. Taylor Norkus and Ava Olson each collected two hits. Ava Lorenzatti earned the win allowing only 2 hits, while striking out 9 Vikings. Season record currently stands at 18-0. Today we host Wilmington, the game starts at 4:30pm.
The track and field team is hosting a 5K Color Run and 1-mile walk this Sunday, April 27th. Check-in will begin at 12:00pm at the Junior High, and the race will start at 1:00pm. Prom tickets are being sold In Mrs. Hoekstra's room during C Lunch, Study Hall, and after school. The cost is $85 per ticket. Students are reminded that ALL outstanding fees must be paid before purchasing your ticket, and if you are bringing a guest outside BHS, a dance guest form must be approved. Guest forms are in the office. After you purchase your ticket(s), you can sign up for your table seating for the meal. LAST DAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS IS MONDAY, APRIL 28.
Student Council will be hosting our second BLOOD DRIVE next Wednesday, April 30. See Mrs. Segert in the office for an appointment time. A signed parental consent form is needed for 16 year old donors only. Those permission slips are in the office. Roll up your sleeve and SAVE A LIFE. It’s a good feeling and donors will receive a coupon for a pint of ice cream from Culvers.
