The Scholasti-Cats started the season off with 2 wins over Momence, 140-60 and 180-50. Leading the way with toss-ups was Lanaya Kellum with 5, Katy Gregory and Jacob Phillips with 4 and Maddy Cramer and Lilly Gesswein with 1. A good all around team effort. Next practice will be December 15 until 3:45 and our next match is home on December 17th vs. Donovan.

Girls basketball lost to Clifton Central in a game that had 40 foul calls and 49 combined FT's. Beecher shot just 8-23 from the line and lost with a score of 55-39. The loss puts Beecher at 2-4 on the year with another game tonight, hosting Grant Park at 5:30. Beecher was led by Gianna Bonomo's 14 points and all girls scored in the contest.

Thank you to all students and staff who donated blood yesterday at our first drive. Your donation will make a difference in someone's life. Our next drive is April 29, 2026 and hope to have more participants. Students who donate 4 times can earn a red cord to wear at graduation.
