Please dismiss track and field athletes at 1:15pm today.
First conference game, first conference WIN! Varsity volleyball won against GSW 25-17 and 25-20. Great start, Bobcats! What a way to set the tone for the season, let’s keep the momentum going! Also, come support our teams at our COUNTRY game tonight, where we will be facing Cissna Park. JV game is at 5:30pm, followed by varsity at 6:30pm. Bring out your best boots and cowboy hats! Sit in the student section for a chance to win a prize before the varsity game!
Boys varsity golf continued their winning ways when they traveled to Dwight Country Club last night as they took on both Dwight and Momence. The boys took care of business behind a personal best from Charlie Nowak who had 39, Ben Anaclerio and Jacob Benck both had 44s and Peyton Serafin continued his medalist streak and fired another even par round of 36. On the JV squad, Rocco Panici and Christo Dousias both carded personal bests. Good job boys, keep up the momentum!
Last night the boys soccer team defeated ILHS by a score of 14-1. Wences Baumgartner led the way with 5 goals and 1 assist. Gavin Graham had a solid night with 2 goals and an assist of his own. Pablo Avila followed with 2 goals and an assist as well. Dom Bresnahan, Dom Camilleri, Miguel Corral, Conner Cochrane, and Tyler Doran each found the back of the net.
Art Club is meeting TODAY at 3:00PM in Mrs. Cerda's room 4.
Beecher Booster Club is looking for student volunteers who need to earn community service hours. Help is needed in the Junior HIgh concession stand for games. Hours are 4:15-7:15pm on various dates. Contact beecherbo...@yahoo.com for more information.

Any student interested in representing your class, please pick up an application in the office. Applications and essays must be submitted to your class advisor no later than 3:15PM on Friday, September 19th. Late applications will NOT be accepted. Elections will be held on Wednesday, September 24th.
