Girls softball travels to Pontiac today to play Pontiac in the Sectional Semifinal game starting at 4:30. Admission prices are as follows: $9 cash at the gate, or $7 for GoFan tickets. Here is a link for GoFan Tickets:https://gofan.co/event/6634261?schoolId=IL21472.
Yesterday, the Varsity Baseball team won their last regular season game. The Bobcats defeated GSW by a score of 11-7. Noah Hanson and Chase Maher both had big days at the plate having three hits and three RBIs each. Easton Lane had two hits including a double for the Bobcat offense. Maher earned the win going six innings and striking out three. Nicholas Fox had a 1-2-3 seventh inning to preserve the win. Kyler Clegg ended the game with a spectacular diving play in the first/second base hole and threw the runner out at first.
Hall locks should be left on lockers and will be re-issued when school resumes in August.
Beecher Community Library would like to invite all students to visit the Science Bus on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4:00-6:00pm in the library parking lot. Curious minds will be able to hop on the University of Illinois IGB Mobile Science Learning Lab and use equipment such as microscopes to research the plants and insects around us and learn about genomic biology.
