Girls basketball traveled to conference opponent Momence last night and delivered a complete performance, earning a convincing 53–22 road victory to improve to 15–11 on the season. From the opening tip, Beecher set the tone with defensive intensity and quick transition offense. The Bobcats forced turnovers early and capitalized immediately, racing out to a 12–1 lead after the first quarter, with every point coming off turnovers and fast-break opportunities. Offensively, Beecher was as sharp as it has been all season. The ball moved smoothly, resulting in 19 assists while committing just 8 turnovers, allowing the team to consistently find high-quality looks. Aubrey Tiltges and Allie Johnson paced the scoring with 11 points apiece, with Tiltges also adding 4 steals. Madison Smith made her presence felt on both ends, finishing with 8 points and 6 steals, while Gianna Bonomo directed the offense and led the team with 5 assists. Beecher’s balance, defensive pressure, and unselfish play proved too much for Momence, as the Bobcats controlled the game from start to finish.
