Softball tryouts for our defending State Champions will be held Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24 from 3-5pm in the Den.  

The Scholati-Cats entered the RVC Tournament 3rd in conference and finished 2nd in the Tournament losing in the final in overtime 250-240.  It was a strong all-around performance.  In the first round we defeated Momence 180-110, the second round defeated Grace Christian 380-80, before the loss in the final.  Leading the way with toss-ups was Lanaya Kellum with 13, Jacob Phillips with 7, Maddy Cramer and Katy Gregory had 6, and Josh Price had 3.  Natalia Dominguez supported the team in bonuses.  Lanaya Kellum was named to the All-tournament 1st team and Jacob Phillips to the All-tournament 2nd team.  Our next match is at home on February 25th against Bishop Mac. 

Winter dance, which is themed SWEETHEARTS, is this Friday from 6-9pm.  Admission is $20, or two tickets for $30.  See Mrs. Calomino for tickets.  Students are reminded, per School Board policy, that ½ of all outstanding fees must be paid before buying your ticket.  See Mrs. Segert in the office if you have questions about fees.  Also, students must serve all their detention time before attending the dance.
