Boys soccer defeated University High this weekend by a score of 4-2. Wences Baumgartner tallied one goal and one assist while Trevor Panozzo, Sebastian Juarez, and Pablo Avila all found the back of the net as well. Tyler Doran had a solid game with 2 assists and Conner Cochrane added an assist of his own. Stanley Detjen had 7 saves. Great defensive effort by all led by Jadyn Hill, Axel Avila, Miguel Corral, and Tyler Doran. JV soccer also defeated University High in their last game of the season by a score of 1-0. Vince Durante had the lone goal while Brian Oldenburg had the clean sheet in the net.
There will be a meeting during study hall, in the main gym, on Thursday for anyone interested in girls basketball this season.
Anyone who is interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2025-2026 season, please join the Google Classroom page with the code hwtgpx7. Tryouts will be Thursday, October 2 at BES. They will start right after school. All requirements for tryouts will be listed in Google Classroom. There will be a meeting TODAY after school in Mrs. Cal’s room for anyone interested in Student Council.
Fall Formal tickets are available to purchase in Mrs. Cal's room. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
Jostens will be here on Thursday during lunch to assist with the following:
Freshman: Confirm your freshman class ring order and check your ring size. You may design your ring and print your order form at www.jostens.com
Seniors: Senior items will be on display and Jostens can assist with any questions to order the cap and gown unit, or any other graduation needs.
Varsity athletes: Jostens can assist athletes with purchasing and sizing a letterman’s jacket.

Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday (dress in your most wacky attire)
Thursday - Roles Reversed (students dress as teachers, teachers dress as students)
Friday - Freaky Friday (boys dress as girls, girls dress as boys)
