Boys basketball hosted Morgan Park Academy last night, walking away with two wins. The JV won 42-18 behind 27 points from Ryan LeBlanc. The varsity team also won with an effort that involved all 13 players. Francis Eckhardt’s 14 points and 10 rebounds, Hunter Eastham’s 17 points, and Harris Williams’ 8 points helped the Bobcats win 67-45. They are back in action tomorrow at Herscher. Bus departs at 4:00pm.
Ladycats defeated ILHS last night 58-17. Margaret Landis had another double double leading all scorers with 16 points and 12 steals. Yadi Barraza added 10 points and Rhiannon Saller had 8.
Miscellaneous
Drama Club will be performing “Rumors” this evening at 7pm, tomorrow at 2pm and 7pm, and again Sunday at 2pm. Shows will be at the Community Hall on Penfield Street. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
Students are reminded that all library books need to be returned and fines paid before EQAs next week. This also applies to negative lunch balances.
Jostens will be here today during lunch, in the cafeteria, to deliver class rings. All students and staff are invited to have their Jostens ring inspected, polished, resized and stone replaced if needed, at no charge at this time.
Seniors: Jostens will pick up final cap, gown and graduation orders during lunch periods today.
There is a junior class officer meeting Monday after school in Ms. Borgman’s room.
