The baseball team opened their season with a victory over Bloom Township. Jacob Pevion recorded the pitching victory throwing four innings and striking out 7 batters. Hunter Eastham recorded a save in his two innings of no hit ball. Cris Martinez had two hits for the Bobcat offense and Pevion chipped in one of his own.
Please release the baseball players at 2:30 today for their game in Watseka.
Miscellaneous
Any student interested in earning service hours can see Mrs. Compton, she has two different ways you can earn hours.
Sophomore Class Officers will have a meeting after school next Tuesday.
A guest speaker assembly will be held at 10:00am on Monday for all students. The speaker is Mr. John Halligan, who will present “Ryan’s Story” in the Bobcat Den. An announcement will be made calling students down to the Den during Period 6. KACC students will return early on Monday in order to get back in time for this assembly.
Seniors, are you interested in attending Prairie State College next fall? If so, see Mrs. Rojas. If there is enough interest, we will take a trip to visit the campus and take the placement tests required for all incoming students.
