The cross country team competed at the New Prairie Invitational this past weekend. Out of over 200 runners, Hailey Janssen finished 2nd place, just 3 seconds from 1st place. Tori Fasano wasn't far behind, finishing 6th. Additionally Kasey Swanson meddled with a 40th place finish. For the boys, Justin Janssen led the way with a 37th place finish. A special congratulations Brenden Kincaid who completed and finished his first ever varsity race. The season continues tomorrow at Dwight Country Club.

On Friday, the Ladycat golfers competed in the RVC Invite. Emily Hayhurst shot the low score with an 81. Maddie Boley shot one of her best rounds ever. Tori Moran, Katelyn Kain, and Dana Young had very good showings also. Please congratulate Olivia Darabaris on completing the 1st 18 hole match of her golfing career.  On Saturday, the ladies competed in the Andre Thunderbolt Invite. In a better ball scoring format, the team narrowly missed out on taking it all. Emily Hayhurst and Maddie Boley took home the low pair score with an 84. Tori Moran and Kristy Wcisel were 4th overall. Grace Shepard competed in her 1st ever 18 hole match and shows a lot of promise. Courteney Gill bounced back from a rough match the previous weekend. The team competes at home today, Thursday and Saturday before moving on to Regionals.

The boys golf team reclaimed the RVC title on Friday when Austin Behrens carded a 78 to set a new personal best, finishing 3rd overall, and led the team to a first place finish. Brady Serafin carded a 81 to finish 4th overall and earned All-Conference honors along with Austin. Eric Stasko-89 and Daniel Meier- 94 helped to round out the scoring. In addition, the JV squad competed in the HF junior varsity invite and showed well as many of them had their first chance at 18 hole tournament golf. Congratulations to all!
