Hi,

I'm working with Aankit Patel at CUNY central on a great networking
event for CUNY CS and Tech students. He provided me with your contact info.

The event is Pitchfest - we fist held it last Spring and it was a great
success. We're doing it again this January. January 15th to be specific.
I'm hoping you can help get word to students who can benefit from the event.

For Pitchfest, teams of CUNY students, preferably teams, enter projects
that they've already created - for classes like a capstone, software
engineering or other classes, hackathons, or personal projects. If
selected (and we try to include as many students as space allows), on
January 15the they'll all convene at CUNY Central and be able to
pitch/demo their projects to groups of industry professionals.

While the feedback from the professionals is useful, the networking
experience is even more valuable. Last year, in addition to making new
connections, a number of student groups ended up with follow up meetings
and referrals.

Here's a web page with all the info and how to register:

I'vealso included a flyer in pdf and png formats. The png should print
on 8.5x11 paper.

If you aren't in a  position to reach the students but know of a better
contact on your campus, could you please connect us?

Finally, please feel free to send me any questions.

Thanks
Mike Zamansky
