Greetings from the Black History Month Committee at Brooklyn College,

This is a friendly reminder that the last day to submit nominations for the 2026 Black Excellence Gala: Rhythm ’n Renaissance is this upcoming Wednesday, February 18th.

The Black Excellence Gala celebrates the leaders, changemakers, creators, and community builders who uplift and inspire our campus community. We encourage you to take a moment to nominate a student, staff member, faculty member, or community member whose impact deserves recognition.

If you haven’t submitted a nomination yet, this is your final opportunity to make sure the excellence around you is honored.
