Good Afternoon,

We're extremely happy to announce that we are beginning the recruitment process for our upcoming MHAP (Mental Health Awareness Project) Cohort 9! Through this paid internship opportunity, our youth undergo interactive and informational training in order to become well-informed mental health advocates and work collaboratively with their peers to create safe spaces as they go into different NYC communities and educate people on different mental health issues. This internship will last from October 2024 to June 2025, where our training will happen first weekly and then, later, bi-weekly on Saturdays. Participants must be able to accommodate different virtual work activities, such as virtual workshops & training, and be comfortable commuting to different locations in NYC to fulfill internship responsibilities.

If you know of any youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are interested in mental health and advocacy and are looking for an internship opportunity that enhances their knowledge on these topics, please invite them to apply for our 9th MHAP Cohort! Applications are now open, and I have provided the link below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!
