Please spread the news! The Intern/Job Fair is Thursday, Oct. 10th and there are still events to help students prepare!

 

 

Upcoming Fall Career Events and Program Dates: 

  • In-Person Job & Internship Fair (October 10th, 2024 from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM): we’re looking forward to hosting 80+ employers! Students can register by going to portal.brooklyn.edu, selecting the “Career” tab, and then “Career Workshops.”
    • Job Fair Prep: Will be taking place leading up to the fair. Students can find all prep sessions by going to portal.brooklyn.edu, selecting the “Career” tab, and then “Career Workshops.”
  • In-Person Career Success Luncheon (November 12th, 2024, 12:15 PM – 2:15 PM): employers/alumni will provide to Brooklyn College students career advice & guidance on the job search process.
    • Students can register by going to portal.brooklyn.edu, selecting the “Career” tab, and then “Career Workshops.”
  • Unpaid Internship Stipend for Spring 2025 (Spring Deadline: October 31st, 2024): Students can apply if they are or plan to participate in a Spring 2025 unpaid career-related experience (internship, off-campus research, volunteer work, student teaching, etc.).

 

SPECIAL INITIATIVES:

The Spring Forward Internship Program is recruiting students age 18 and older who have no internship experience (deadline Oct 9), pays $20 per hour and are exploring careers in:

  • Healthcare
  • STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Math)
  • Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations
  • Community services, non-profits, and social services
