We have several opportunities to volunteer and get involved this semester. 

In addition to the list below, we are working with a consulting firm to develop a clean micro-mobility transportation plan. Please give us your insight and share the transportation survey link widely with your program constituents, including non-student community members! The short survey touches on transportation to and mobility within the campus.

BC Eats Garden Spring Planning

Friday, March 21, 2025, 10 AM - 2 PM, Behind the Leonard and Claire Tow, Center for the Performing

Join us to discuss community agreement, what we should grow, ways to enjoy the garden, and how to stay involved. The BC Eats Garden is an agricultural collective space for students, faculty, and staff to experience food production, experiment, socialize, meditate, draw, host meetings, exhibit art, perform music, and much more.

BC Garden Spring Readiness

Join us for two workdays to prep the BC Garden for spring! Work in groups to tackle tasks like raking, turning over soil, adding compost, weeding, and mulching leaves in each garden bed. No experience is necessary! Please be sure to RSVP HERE.

Join the Public Health & Medicine (PHaM) & Brooklyn College Sustainability Club at the Brooklyn College Food Lab for a meal prep workshop to stock our community fridge!

Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Waste Audit 2025

Thurs, April 24, 2025, 11 AM - 3 PM, West Quad

Volunteers will sort waste, weigh and gather data, identify recycling contamination, and explore sustainable solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work together with peers and enhance recycling efforts on campus. Please be sure to RSVP HERE.
