A few things…

1) Kate was awesome last night. Mackenzie Moon was able to get pretty good audio and it’s on our FB page. I will try to get a pdf of the slides. 

2) Kate says they still need to test dogs for the liver fluke project they are short of the goal set forth by their funding. So email thedrak...@tamu.edu if you want free testing done. 

3) I am getting some details about DNA Copper testing, I hear there will be a SALE on PPG/Orivet on Black Friday. I will share more on that later.

4) Since we passed the HRC reinstatement vote, we have opened discussions with HRC and started the paperwork- no timelines yet but good progress so far. They are offering a handlers seminar for our club here locally, when we get closer in the process!!

5) It is dues season, however you normally pay, or get with Dan.

6) Christmas party- Friday Dec 5th at the Tony’s lodge, more to follow.

7) While you have your calendars open add Feb 27-Mar 1 for the Spring Hunt Test at Parten’s Ranch, if you have a specific role like marshal, cooking/serving, shooting, test dog, ATV use… let me or Jeanie Budd know.

8) If you have specific topics for meetings in 2026 for Judges Perspective or Education send it to me directly. 

9) We are planning to do the Snake Avoidance Clinic at Parten’s again in the Spring (likely between the hunt test and play day) - stay tuned as we will likely do a member discount again.

10) if you are an AKC judge and you still need to take the children’s abuse awareness - there is now a short version!!!
