Hi team,

I assumed this was clear, but it’s come to my attention that some folks may not fully understand the seriousness of the current burn ban in our area and Grimes County —or the level of fire risk we’re facing.

Both of our generous landowners have explicitly asked that there be no smoking anywhere on their property, especially under these conditions. This is not negotiable.

If you’re receiving this message as a club member, please help us reinforce this expectation. We cannot afford risky behavior on these grounds. It’s a matter of safety, respect, and stewardship. We are incredibly fortunate to have access to these properties, and we must honor that trust.
