The plan as of 5:30pm!
Plan to come early, eat lots, win prizes, and stay late, and have fun! I am looking forward to seeing everyone!
Everything is still good to go for tomorrow morning

Training:
We hope to have 2 training stations ready about 7am but need to be done at noon.We will have unfrozen ducks at both land and water stations! Thanks to Kevin for bringing those out. Kevin, TJ, Watt, Mike Connally, and David Christianson will all be helping with land and water training. Super appreciate you all. IF the land series area does not runoff sufficiently tonight then we may have to make an audible for that location.

Sponsors:
A number of individuals, at all levels, have contributed to offset the costs.
In addition, Black Label Kennels and J.Cody BBQ have corporately supported the event.  Should you still want to help out, just connect with Dan at the event so we can send you a letter for your tax purposes.

Mud:
To be respectful of Jan‘s house if you guys could bring boots to wear out at training and then something “less muddy” up for her house, or clean shoes off well, that would be really appreciated.

Food/Drink:
Michael Head will be at the helm cooking fish, chicken, fries, hushpuppies - just take your cholesterol meds. Jan/Alana are managing sides and stuff y’all bring and coordinating the serving system. [be sure and thank Dr. Connally for the fish. He caught them all at their lake]
Cami is bringing donuts for the early arrives to train as well. We will have sweet and unsweet tea, lemonade and water. You are welcome to bring adult beverages or sodas if you like. We will have bottle water at each training setup.

Location/schedule:
There are two entrances to the ranch. Both have signs and the gates will be open.

7438 Mize Rd. Bryan Tx. 77808 takes you directly to the house.
  • In the morning - you can drop off food and such at the house. We will also be running the Pattern Blinds behind the house in the morning. Mike Connally will be helping at this station.
  • At noon - We will eat on the back porch / under the carport at noon.  The meeting - awards - recognition - door prize drawing - elections will all be at the house after linch is served.
  • After lunch, Bumper Toss (need a volunteer lead) will be immediately in front of the house. We will run Super Single (need a volunteer lead) in the same vicinity.
  • Once Bumper Toss and Super Single are complete we will start Doggie Golf (the Christiansons)  and Top Shot (Michael Head). We haven't selected a location for Doggie Golf yet, but Top Shot will be behind the house where Pattern Blinds were in the morning.

9470 FM 1179 Bryan, Tx 77808 brings you into the ranch near the water setup area. You can air your dogs just inside the ranch gate.
  • In the morning - We will have land and water setups available as well as pattern blinds for upper level dogs up behind the house.
  • At noon - We need everyone to have completed training set ups and be at the house.
Shortcut:
The road between the barns and the house is in great shape. You can use it as an option instead of going around 1179 and Mize.

Door prizes:
Each adult (18+) will get a 1 ticket for door prize drawings (I think we have ~14). Only one prize per person. Y’all can swap like crazy when we are done ;). Again, hats off to Michael Head for this incredible fun.

Awards:
Jan will handout dog title awards, Tony will do lifetime membership plaques. Individual game awards will be handed out by Kelly upon winner decision.

40th Anniversary t-shirts and so forth/
Hopefully delivery will have t-shirts here. We also have anniversary fountain pens that are on the way. Dan will take your $15/shirt when you pick it up.
Unfortunately, the commemorative coins will not be here in time for the party. However, we will make those available at subsequent meetings and events for members.

Parking:
See map below. PLEASE try to park in select areas, especially if it rains more.
If someone gets stuck, Mike would prefer to come pull out with tractor that track up the fields.

Other cautions:
Ant eruptions are getting started so be aware of them under feet. Sunscreen may be useful if you will be out in it enjoying the day all day. Don’t forget to bring your own chair for most of the activities although we should have enough chairs available for lunch and meeting around the around the tables.

Lastly… Cows:
There are cows here and they will have access to the setup areas! Please be aware of them and gently move them out of your way as needed. There are some protective momma’s here as a warning!
