I am sad to report the passing of Richard E. Hand, banjo player and early member of BBU. Richard passed away March 23, 2026 at his home in Sanford Maine.

Richard was a great guy. Was very encouraging when I was learning how this bluegrass music worked. Great player. Rest in Peace old friend.
