Nippo Lake Bluegrass Series

This Sunday, November 23, from 6 - 8 pm, Rockspring will be playing the Nippo Lake Bluegrass Series. Nippo Lake Golf Club, Barrington, NH.

Rockspring is a modern quintet bluegrass band, originating in Portsmouth, NH. Centered around the songwriting of guitarist and vocalist Chad Verbeck paired with the rhythm and bass lines of Derek Brock. Jed Rosen on banjo and Justin Quinn on mandolin both provide outstanding instrumental solos and both lead and harmony vocals. With the addition of Bob Kordas on dobro, the band is back to their favorite formation style and bringing their original music to the delight of fans old and new across New Hampshire and around New England.

RockSpring provides an energetic performance of contemporary original and unique cover music, charging toward the future of bluegrass while honoring the traditional sounds and history that have given them the inspiration from which they Spring! Their original songs and cover song choices vary greatly in sound and style, while always leaning into the traditional bluegrass arrangements, while the rhythm and improvisational prowess of the band lets them explore new musical territory onstage. All of these elements combine to bring the audience into the RockSpring realm of bluegrass.

The restaurant is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, has VERY friendly servers, serves good food at reasonable prices, and is conveniently located in Barrington, NH approximately 10-15 minutes north of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
