The Mudsills play foundational bluegrass!
A gathering of various yanks from the greater Boston area bluegrass scene with plenty of hot picking and sweet vocals. You may have already enjoyed the talents of Gretchen Bowder (banjo) as she is a long time member of the Bagboys. Likewise Dan Africk (guitar) has delighted audiences as a member of Sick Sad & Lonesome. Frank Drake (mandolin) is also a member of the Bagboys and has played in numerous other bands including Short Life Of Trouble. And making the foundations rock steady on bass is Mike Siegel, an active Boston bassist and member of Sumner & Moss.
