The Grass Roots Coffeehouse presents Bob & Sarah Amos Saturday, May 2 at 7 PM.

Bob & his daughter Sarah are just releasing their new album, "Two of Us" featuring acoustic arrangements of their favorite Beatles songs. Bob & Sarah Amos present a wide variety of songs in a captivating and intimate style, with mesmerizing vocal harmonies accompanied by Bob's formidable guitar talents. Bob is an award-winning chart-topping songwriter who has written and recorded over 100 songs on 12 CDs over the past 30 years. Recently the duo's song “Hills That I Call Home” reached #1 on the Folk Alliance International chart, while their album “Ever Onward” reached #1 on the Folk DJ national chart. Bob's songs reflect many influences and styles including folk, bluegrass, blues, and Celtic. Sarah Amos, a vocalist of stunning power and emotional conviction, has been singing with her father in their duo as well as in their Americana/Bluegrass band for the past 12 years. 

I'll be joining Bob and Sarah as well on acoustic guitar, mandolin and bass.  Bob and I were half of the popular bluegrass group "Front Range" in the 1990's.  The Grass Roots Coffeehouse is located at the Rockdale Congregational Church 42 Fowler Road in Northbridge, MA.  Admission is $20 at the door. Doors open at 6PM. We offer soups and chili, desserts and beverages for purchase before the show and during intermission.  All proceeds go to the Rockdale church and the visiting artists.  Grass Roots in a volunteer run group bringing music and fellowship into our little community church.  Come join us for a wonderful evening of great music!
