The Return of the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival!
Over President’s Day weekend, the BBU welcomed our community back to Framingham for the 40th Anniversary Joe Val Bluegrass Festival. The festival featured amazing music from Del McCoury, Alice Gerrard, Alison Brown, Stuart Duncan, and many, many more. Joe Val also featured fascinating panel discussions, over 150 workshops and jams, and 24 brand new hours of fun. We also mourned the loss of two beloved community members: Stan Zdonik and Gabe Hirshfeld.
We want to give a heartfelt thanks to the many people who helped make this year's festival such a success. If you were with us as a volunteer, as a musician, or as an attendee, we thank you for contributing your effort, talent, and presence to make this year of renewal so very special. We had so much fun, and we are already looking ahead to next year: President's Day Weekend 2027!
Please help us make next year's festival even better by filling out this completely anonymous survey. Even if you weren't able to join us for Joe Val this year, we would still love to hear your thoughts. We encourage you to be as candid as you like, and we appreciate your time in helping us improve the festival!
