The Mill Town Rounders are looking for a new upright bass player. Roughly half our repertoire are originals, mostly "Americana" style songs. We also play traditional bluegrass as well as blues, rock, country, and folk tunes. We are a 6 person group with guitar, uke, harmonica, banjo, and upright bass. We are looking for a permanent member (i.e. not a hired gun) who will collaborate in song-writing and arrangements. It would be a bonus if you sing, but it's not required. We typically practice 2-3 times a month (at a house in Maynard) and play out 8-12 times a year. Please visit our website (milltownrounders.com) and our Youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/@milltownrounders1193) and see/hear what we are all about. If interested please contact me and we can arrange a time to get together with the band.
