canceling

hi. I had a death in the family and I need to go out to Indiana the weekend of Joe Val so I have a room up for grabs and I was wondering if I could get a credit for my concert ticket for the weekend since that's probably easier than a refund? I was so looking forward to the festival but I can't do it. I know that at least one person has asked for a room. The email was from somebody named April. Do I cancel the hotel room with you or with the Sheraton/Renaissance or whatever their new name is?

There's probably at least 50 people who would love to have a room there during the festival. Put out an appeal on this site and you can have the room transferred to the other person. I did it last year, no big deal. You transfer the reservation and then they pay for it. Everyone, let's help spread the word.  ps I was the one who  put out the post you read but I managed to score a room already.
