As I mentioned on the 10th, in the BARGE list, craftpoker.com will once again host a WYWAE series of tournaments, inspired by EMBARGO. The details can be found on the WYWAE 2026 series page. Please click that link for details.
The only things that have changed since my January 10th post is that everything is as ready as it can be until the EMBARGO structure sheets are released:
- The tournaments are present on craftpoker.com for registration
- A complete explanation of how the series works is in the Players' Manual
- I've paid the artist in advance for the six awards
- We played the Drawmana Mix yesterday (FerencL won)
I've bcc'd this to barge-announce, because I think there may be some people who get that that don't get the daily BARGE who may be interested. After all, craftpoker.com is the only place to practice some of the games that will be dealt at EMBARGO 2026, AFAIK. This is the only post for WYWAE 2026 that I'll make to barge-announce, and I'm not sending it to the other ARGE lists (e.g., Atlarge), but perhaps it would be interesting to members of those lists.
I hate spam and I don't want to be a spammer, but I do hope the word gets out to anyone who might get pleasure from participating in this series. Considering the high percentage of carnival games, I don't think this is as interesting to the general poker playing public as the WSOP-Style series will be, so I'm not going to try to get every online poker player to hear about WYWAE 2026, but I do hope to get more people out for the WSOP-Style series. IOW, tell your friends, if your friends like Murder and friends..
