As of about fifteen minutes ago, registration was supposed to close last night. So I programmed that, and it dutifully closed registration. Note this was the second such deadline.

As of about five minutes ago, I was told that we do not need banquet numbers until Thursday. So now...for some definitions of done...

You'll also be able to register on site, just not for the banquet. Well, if you're nice to Sharon, you can probably pull that off too.

Why close it? People register on site. This year I can put it on a phone and they don’t even need one.

I’m sure we need a solid banquet number at some point - that’s the driving factor.
