How can I confirm HDR from sony HIF and iphone gain maps?

Hi,

I have not found a viewer (except for lightroom) that can display HDR gain-mapped jpg from iphones and lightroom and HDR HIF files from a Sony Alpha cameras properly on an HDR10 display in windows.

I am hesitant to buy bandiview when I don't know if I can return it if it fails to display those images properly.

Hello, this is Bandisoft.

- We do have a plan to add support for gain-mapped JPG files to BandiView in the future. But currently, the app does not support such files.
- BandiView currently supports HDR HIF files. If you see the message below when opening your file with the Trial Edition, the Professional Edition can open the same file. Please try the Trial Edition before purchasing a license.

Hi,

 

I opened a sony hybrid log gamma HIF file and saw the image you sent me.  You say that the professional version will properly open and display that file in HDR (as Lightroom does).

If the software fails to operate correctly will I be able to get a refund?
