Calling all community college instructors teaching dual enrollment to high school students! A FREE online 10 week course is being offered to learn effective practices for college courses in a high school setting, while also learning dual enrollment legislation, requirements, and guidelines.
Who: Community College instructors who teach dual enrollment sections or plan to in Fall 2021 or Spring 2022. Space is limited and the goal is to provide this opportunity across the region.
What: Bay Region Dual Enrollment Instructor Training through Cal State LAs Department of Professional and Global Education
Why: This course is designed to enhance community college instructors’ ability to teach learners in the high school dual enrollment setting. This provides the opportunity to learn how to apply effective practices for college courses in a high school setting, while also learning dual enrollment legislation, requirements, and guidelines.
When: This course will be taught on Thursday evenings between October 7, 2021 - December 16, 2021 (excluding November 25, 2021). This course is intended to create a community of practice, so attendance is very important.

Cost: Sponsored by the K14 Pathways Regional Joint Venture, a project of the Strong Workforce program and the Bay Area Community College Consortium (BACCC).
