For our college dual enrollment practitioners: The research fellow below would like to connect with students at the community college (or recently transferred) who have participated in dual enrollment. Please consider sharing this with your students.

Hello! My name is Dr. Alexis Takagi, and I am a Research Fellow at the Campaign for College Opportunity. The Campaign for College Opportunity is looking to uplift student stories on their dual enrollment experiences to better understand these pathways support students in reaching their academic goals. We are seeking students to participate in a 30-minute interview to share their insights and help drive meaningful change. Participants will receive a $40 gift card as compensation for their time. 

Outlined below are details about participation and the link to the screener. After completing the demographic screener, selected students will be contacted for an interview. 

 

Who can participate? 

• Must be currently enrolled in a California community college or recently transferred to a university after participating in a dual enrollment program
• Must have participated in dual enrollment in high school OR earned an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) 

What’s involved? 

• A 30-minute interview will be conducted at a time that is convenient for you, either via Zoom or in person if you are located in the Bay Area.  
• The opportunity to share your experiences with dual enrollment and/or ADT and how they shaped your academic journey 

Why participate? 

• Participants will receive a $40 gift card as a token of appreciation for their time and insights 
• Your experiences will inform policy and program improvements to better support students like you 
• Your insights may be used in research reports, policy briefs, and advocacy efforts aimed at strengthening dual enrollment and ADT programs for future students
