RE: Request for Applications (RFA) – Rising Scholars Network 2.0 - Track 1: Implementation Grants and Track 2: Planning and Implementation Grants
The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office is pleased to announce the availability of Rising Scholars Network 2.0 grants, which offers two funding tracks for application. Serving incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students is core to the California Community Colleges’ mission, critical to the Chancellor’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Call to Action, and closely aligns with the Vision for Success goal to reduce equity gaps among traditionally underrepresented student groups. Please find attached the memorandum announcing the RFA release and a PDF of the RFA to serve as a guide to the application process. All applications will be submitted via the Nova portal. Instructions are included in the memorandum. A Bidders’ Conference presentation will be conducted on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10:00 – 11:30 am PST. Zoom information is available in the memorandum. If you have any questions please contact me lwoo...@cccco.edu or by telephone at (916) 524-2466 or Marissa Anderson at mand...@cccco.edu.
