Are any of our colleges using College Advisors to support students? College Advisors would not need to hold a Master's degree in Counseling. They may be Outreach folks, Classified Professionals, etc who meet with HS students to advise them but may not be creating
their educational plans like a counselor would. They could meet with students to help with the enrollment process, advise on academic dates/deadlines, connect to resources and services, etc.
Any examples?

To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness. - Howard Zinn
