OpenFTA vs. SCRAM

I have been having less luck with OpenFTA lately. Installation issues and seemingly random crashes really annoy me. Sadly, looking through this forum, there no one seems to be working on fixing OpenFTA or upgrading it for Windows. I wish it just worked.
I am sorry to post it on OpenFTA list, but I am looking for other free alternative tools for the past months. If anyone could suggest anything viable, I would be happy.
The best I could find is SCRAM https://scram-pra.org. This software is also free/open-source and seems to be more active. However, it feels very much different and advanced from OpenFTA.
Detailed evaluation and camparison is beyond me. I would appreciate if someone could technically compare these tools and their analysis validity, for example.
