The New Zealand ORCID consortium held its second Town Hall event, via zoom, on 21 October 2020.
Anne
Scott from the University of Canterbury– Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha,
spoke about their ORCID journey, including a direct integration between
their HR system and the New Zealand ORCID Hub to automate the writing of
affiliations to ORCID records.
Katharina Ruckstuhl, from the
University of Otago – Te Whare Wānanga o Otāgo, spoke on the topic of
indigenous data sovereignty and how it fits into ORCID.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to make this a great event. We had a really interesting Q and A session after the speakers.
