[APPD Announcements]

We want to find some folks to take over APPD. If you are interested or know someone who is, please email a...@athensareapagans.org and tell us about it.

For the first year or two, we would prefer that APPD remains under the AAP umbrella. It can remain a part of AAP beyond that, too, if desired.  We just need some other people to do the work. 

Doing APPD is a lot of fun and very rewarding.  You will get great organizational experience and meet lots of wonderful people.

It is also a lot of work, so you need to be committed.  We recommend a team of at least 4-5 people who work closely across the year. If you don't have 4-5 people already, contact us anyway. We will introduce you to anyone else who contacts us. The more the merrier. 

We have lots of resources, and a little bit of seed money. We've been doing APPD since 2009, except for last year, so you won't be flying blind. We will help you along the way. Our status as a 501(c)(3) organization is also very useful. If you are a seasoned pro, we still ask that you work with us for the first year or two, and even after that if you like.
