| Ihanaa viikkoa!
Nyt seuraa allekirjoittaneen paras vinkki phukseille ja muillekin, syvällä rintaäänellä ja kahden wapun kokemuksella: vaikka ihana sää ulkona saakin opiskelun tuntumaan tosi ikävältä, niin panostakaa kouluun just nyt!! Ensi viikolla odottavan pääsiäisloman jälkeen Wappu lähtee nimittäin käyntiin ja voin kertoa, että silloin opiskelu on vielä kymmenen kertaa ikävämpää kuin se on tällä hetkellä. Itse aion myös noudattaa tätä ohjetta ja käyttää koko tämän viikon opiskeluun, jotta se ei vie huhtikuussa aikaa tärkeämmiltä asioilta :)

| Viikon hyvä uutinen: Ilmanlaatu on parantunut dramaattisesti monessa suuressa kaupungissa
Uuden tutkimuksen mukaan osa maailman suurimmista kaupungeista, kuten Peking, Lontoo ja Pariisi, ovat parantaneet ilmanlaatuaan merkittävästi. Tutkimus löysi 19 metropolia, lähes puolet näistä Aasiasta, joiden ilmansaasteet ovat vähentyneet 20%-40% viimeisen 15 vuoden aikana. Tuloksia on saavutettu muun muassa pyöräilyyn kannustamisella sekä sähköajoneuvoilla. Ilmansaasteet ovat maailman johtava ympäristöllinen terveysriski. |

| Happy Monday!
Here’s my best tip for the phuksis and everyone else, spoken from the bottom of my heart and backed by two years of Wappu experience: even if the lovely weather outside makes studying feel really boring, put your all into school right now!! After the upcoming Easter break next week, Wappu kicks off, and I can tell you that studying will be ten times more of a drag then than it is right now. I’m also going to follow this advice and spend the whole week studying so it doesn’t take time away from more important things in April :)

| Good news of the week: Air quality has improved dramatically in many major cities
According to a new study, some of the world’s largest cities, such as Beijing, London, and Paris, have significantly improved their air quality. The study identified 19 metropolitan areas—nearly half of them in Asia—where air pollution has decreased by 20% to 40% over the past 15 years. These results have been achieved through measures such as encouraging cycling and the use of electric vehicles. Air pollution is the world’s leading environmental health risk. |
