Announcement
The schedule for these change notifications is changing.
Over the course of the last 9 months the delivery of these change notification messages has been irregular, because of limited resources as the Drupal Association CTO, hestenet, helped our new executive director Heather Rocker transition into her role.
Instead of sending these on a rigid two-week cycle, we sent messages only when potential disruptive changes were scheduled, such as the cutover from our old Git infrastructure to GitLab. We also leveraged our social media tools, including the @drupal_infra twitter account, to provide real-time updates.
This model worked well, so we will continue it moving forward.
To recap:
These emailed change notifications will no longer be delivered every two weeks
Instead, we will deliver a change notification only when a major, disruptive change is upcoming.
We will continue to provide near-real time updates through the @drupal_infra twitter account as needed.
If you were using these updates to get an idea of what work the Drupal Association engineering team has been doing, we encourage you to follow the Drupal.org blog: https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/blog/
