Purdue University is accepting applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor position (non-tenure track) beginning in fall 2022. This faculty appointment is in the Department of Computer and Information Technology, the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.  Note, the position is not for the main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.  This position is for the Anderson Indiana campus but may require travel to the CIT statewide locations in Columbus Indiana, and Kokomo Indiana. Essential job duties include the following: (1) Teach undergraduate courses in multiple concentration areas in computer and information technology including: application development, database, networking and systems analysis and design; (2) deliver classes in-person at assigned location and via distance or in-person education to other statewide locations; (3) develop traditional in-person and online undergraduate courses in computer an information technology; (4) perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring; (5) demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and transformational education;  (6) serve on curriculum committees; (7) engage government and industry through collaboration with CIT faculty, other academic units, and external organizations.  Salary and rank will be commensurate with the education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate.  Benefits will include comprehensive health and retirement plans.
