Rate limit issue

Hi all,

As of earlier today, the API should be performing normally again, as it has over the past few months.

For the past several days, at times the API has been responding slowly, with more 503 errors, and rate limiting endpoint requests too quickly (429s).

We saw an increase in traffic during these times and added limits on the new traffic contributing to the issue.

The API worked correctly for some time. Now the error is back again. It is still not fixed.
