The CSU Libraries are seeking an Assessment Research Analyst to join a dynamic, future-oriented library team that is interested in using data to make better decisions and share our story with campus. The individual in this position will coordinate and conduct
assessment activities across library units and participate in initiatives that measure and communicate the Libraries’ effectiveness, impact, and value to internal and external constituents.
The Library Assessment Research Analyst will be skilled at conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and can translate findings into clear language that creates compelling narratives. This individual will work with employees throughout the library to
identify data needs, use data to analyze systems and services in support of the Libraries’ mission and goals, and build a culture of assessment within the organization.
This position reports to the Associate Dean for User Services and Assessment and will work closely with library leadership to define key performance indicators for library effectiveness and impact. The analyst will also partner with other campus units to support
university and external data reporting including accreditation requirements, library member association statistics, and more.
