Dear Colleagues

It is the 20th anniversary of the MISO Survey! We're celebrating by returning to our original 2005–2006 pricing for first-time participating schools—just $1,000 to survey faculty, undergraduate students, and staff. It's our way of thanking the higher education community for making the MISO Survey such a success.

As you can imagine there has been a great deal of interest in the  2025-26 survey and there is a cap on the number of schools we can support.   We expect to reach that cap shortly.  To sign up or learn more  visit: https://www.misosurvey.org/choosing/pricing-and-registration

The MISO Survey is widely utilized in higher education as a key component of their library and technology assessment plans. It continues to provide valuable insights and benchmarks that can help enhance your institution's services. The survey is fully customizable, allowing you to select only the items that meet your assessment needs. As it has done for 20 years, the survey evolves over time by introducing new items as the technology and library landscape change. For example, the latest version includes a full range of questions about generative AI. Additionally, MISO is always looking for new ways for you to interact with your results, this year introducing new summary results reports making the results easier to read and use.

Whether you aim to assess a wide range of library and technology services or focus on a few critical areas, you can do so with confidence, knowing that every item has been rigorously tested and validated. There are many other unique features that make the MISO Survey stand out. I encourage you to explore them further on our website: MISO Survey.

Feel free to share this opportunity with any peer institutions or other consortia of which you are a part. The 2025-26 survey would be a great time for your peer institutions to try the MISO Survey for the first time. We believe the more institutions that participate, the more comprehensive and beneficial the results will be for everyone.

Should you have any questions or need further information, I’m here to help. Looking forward to your participation!

Best regards,

Craig
