Subject: 7/18 Webinar, Introducing the Data Storytelling Toolkit for Libraries
Dear Colleagues,
(Apologies for any cross-posting in advance!)
After two years of development, the Data Storytelling Toolkit for Libraries (DSTL) is ready to share! Part tutorial and part interactive story-development, the DSTL demo has four components: Audience Attitudes, Narrative Structures, Motivation & Goals, and Data Viz Prototype.
Please register to participate and invite your colleagues to this 45-90-minute workshop, which will be part presentation-style webinar and part interactive Zoom meeting. The first 30 minutes will be an overview of the project background and toolkit, with time for Q&A. The second part will be highly interactive, with breakout rooms to try out each of the four subsections. Participants will be invited to provide feedback toward future improvements, live and through a form.
Date: July 17, 2004
Time: 10am Pacific/11am Mountain/12pm Central/1pm Eastern
Registration link: https://lnkd.in/g7uPwThs
Email with two-part joining details will be available one day prior to the event.
Although this planning phase of the project is now complete, there are pending future developments, including a collaboration with the Public Library Association. If you’d like to stay in touch, in addition to your event registration, please join our email list!
All the best,
Kate
