Survey Reminder #1 - Proficiencies for Assessment in Academic Libraries: Importance and Where They Should Be Acquired

If you are engaged in library assessment, we would love to hear from you! This is a reminder to please provide your input for this student- and new-librarian led survey. This project is spearheaded by a current LIS graduate student and a recent graduate of library school. The research team includes additional colleagues (Megan, Jung Mi, Becky, and Starr) in a supporting role. 

 

If you already completed the survey, we greatly appreciate your input. The survey will close on December 15, 2024.

Original Invitation

 

The Proficiencies for Assessment in Academic Libraries: Importance and Where They Should Be Acquired research team invites individuals who participate in academic library assessment in your institutions (e.g., primary role, component of your job, member of an assessment committee, supervise assessment professionals, etc.) to complete this survey to help answer the following questions. 

• How important do practicing academic librarians consider the ACRL 2023 Proficiencies for Assessment in Academic Libraries to be in their jobs? 
• Where do practicing academic librarians believe these proficiencies should be learned or acquired? 

 

We anticipate that survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and no identifiable information will be gathered.
