Dear colleagues,  

 

I’m excited to let you know that the OHSU Library is hiring a Strategic Assessment Librarian to join our creative and welcoming team. This role is a full-time faculty position located in Portland, Oregon, and the minimum salary for entry-level Instructor rank is $65,000/year, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  

 

Working collaboratively, the Strategic Assessment Librarian will lead the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information and data to facilitate planning and decision-making related to the OHSU Library’s resources and services through an ethical, purpose-oriented, and people-oriented approach.    

 

As a member of the Library Faculty, you will participate in service, educational, and scholarly activities and work with all Library team members to improve learning and adoption of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the organization.  

 

Required Qualifications  

 

Education and Experience:  

  • Master’s degree in library and information science or equivalent combination of a relevant advanced degree and experience  
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating quantitative and/or qualitative data, including collection usage data or publication/research metrics  
  • Experience teaching, mentoring or coaching staff or students in an academic, research, health care, or corporate setting
