1.6.5 vs 1.6.5r2

It seems a new release was made today, 1.6.5r2, apparently only for the
Windows version.

Will the Mac and Linux versions be kept at 1.6.5?

yes

windows -r2 is a hot fix: double clicking a .ino stopped working (my fault)
a part from that, they are identical

I'm updating my software now.

They're far from identical, from the point of view of a 3rd party
installer that checks the version number, and double checks against
known checksums of the jar files!

It's only a small inconvenience on my end, but it'd sure be nice to have
some notice about these sorts of releases. I found out today, only when
end users reported problems.
