Hi everyone

I'm sure you already know that, but just to keep it in the records, IDE
1.6.0 is out :)

A special thanks to everyone of you that, during these two years, has
contributed to its code

Best regards

Federico

Yay!

Any chance the release notes could mention Serial.availableForWrite()?
It's a pretty substantial improvement in the most commonly used Arduino API.

Congrats!

I'm very excited. I should have a chipKIT core ready in the next week to test with.

Any plans to include the changes that I made? as the autocomplete and new editor ?!

Hi Ricardo

yes, absolutely. We had to keep the code as frozen as possible until the
release and we were pretty busy putting all the pieces together.

Next releases are likely to include autocomplete and new editor.

I'll merge your PR asap

No. For the record, for those of you that used one recent 1.5.x, 1.6.0
does not include any killing new feature

On the contray, if you come from 1.0.x, the list is quite long :)

Great job!

Cosa is now updated and supports the new version. Please see the benchmarks and build results in the commit.
