New beta release of DART 3

Hi All,

We've just released what will likely be the last beta of DART 3.0. We expect the following release to be the fulle, official DART 3.0 version.

Changes for this new beta are listed in the release notes. These include a number of bug fixes and two improved features:

•  Major performance improvements when creating, validating and uploading bags with huge numbers of files (100,000+ files)
• You can now upload and download S3 files of up to 50TB, which is ten times the former 5TB limit.

Good morning, DART users,

I wanted to follow up on the new feature for bags up to 50 TB: this does not mean that APTrust has increased the 5 TB bag limit. We are still testing larger bags, and these features were necessary for testing and for the community. Stay tuned.

Apologies to any non-APTrust members on this list, I just wanted to avoid any confusion.
