Hi All,

We have finally completed the long-awaited removal of the expensive NAT gateway in our staging and demo environments. Kudos to the team on finally getting us to this point.

We will be removing the NAT gateway from our production system tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9, 2024. This means we will be pausing ingests and other services between about 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. EST.

You can still push bags to us, but the system will wait until all services are restored before ingesting those bags. Other services, including restoration, deletion and fixity checks will be paused during that window, and the production registry will respond to all requests with a message saying it's in maintenance mode.

We expect to resume normal operations by 3:30 Eastern time. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at he...@aptrust.org.

Hi All,

We are still working on the update. There was an unexpected problem with the IaC which is working fine in our other environments and refuses to update.. We are working with AWS now.

All services are still paused at this time.

We will send out a note when all is back online. Thanks for your patience.
