Dear APTrust Community,

We're looking forward to seeing you at the APTrust 2026 Spring Member Meeting, held virtually over two afternoonsFull details are on the meeting page

📅 Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5
🕐 1:00–5:00 pm EDT each day

Register here by EOB Monday, April 27: https://forms.gle/ipf9fpKmnaZ3gXgf7

Day 1 – Monday, May 4

We'll open with a State of APTrust update and discussion, followed by a technical update from the APTrust team. We'll also share results from the APTrust 2026 Member Census and close with a session on understanding and navigating information security in digital preservation environments.

Day 2 – Tuesday, May 5Day 2 is built around community conversation:
  • The Pressure Points – Five hot topics are on the table, and your registration vote will determine which three become breakout rooms. Speak candidly with peers about the challenges keeping digital preservationists up at night—no presentations, just real conversation.
  • How We Do It Here – A facilitated peer exchange on local digital preservation strategy, SIP and AIP packaging, and preservation planning. The goal is surfacing genuine variation across institutions, not best practices.
  • Digital Preservation Matchmaking – Curated small-group discussions that connect you with peers at similar stages of program development, so the conversation starts where you actually are.
  • Member Project Briefings – A chance to share something you're working on or news from your organization with the broader APTrust community. When you register, you'll have the option to submit a project briefing.
Registration closes EOB Monday, April 27. Your votes will shape the hot topics agenda, and early sign-up gives project briefing presenters time to prepare.

We hope to see many of you there. Questions? Just reply to this message.

Thanks,
Nathan
